Based on figures released by Israel, at least 98 Palestinian individuals have lost their lives during detention beginning in October 2023. An advocacy organization based in Israel has indicated that the actual figure is probably significantly greater, due to hundreds of missing individuals from Gaza.

High-Profile Cases

Several casualties in custody have been publicly known, including a 50-year-old healthcare leader who perished in detention after four months in detention.
