The head of state conducted a visit to address Ukrainian forces in the Pokrovsk area on Tuesday. Zelenskyy announced that he consulted soldiers at the operational headquarters of the first unit of the state defense force Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya sector, a location approximately 20km from Pokrovsk.

Volatile Circumstances in the Region

Recent mapping from a national effort showed that opposition armies had advanced deeper into the city and surrounding areas, though much of it lacked clear dominance by either side. The conditions are severe, with accounts indicating that opposition troops were fortifying positions and building up positions in some districts.

Invading troops are pushing forward in the Pokrovsk direction and seem to be functioning with enhanced confidence within the city proper.

Analysts observed that national troops had freed a large area of a opposition incursion in the Dobropillya area, on the eastern flank of the Pokrovsk operation.
